You’re not supposed to be here
You think
You weren’t supposed to make it
Hopeless
All the times you wanted
To cease
To be
You were resigned
You planned
Poorly
You tried again
And yet
Here you all are
You don’t deserve to be here
You think
You don’t deserve to live
Liars
Thieves
Cheaters
Losers
Home-wreckers
Heart-breakers
Worse
And yet
You are victims too
You don’t deserve the hell you created
You think
You didn’t want to
But you did
Everyone suffered
No one understood
You lost yourself
Love
Faith
And yet
Here you are
You are prodigal children
Lost and alone
Destitute and ashamed
Afraid to come home
And yet
You are welcomed
Forgiven
Embraced in Love
You are here
With help you find your inner worth
You are
Creative and caring
Compassionate and kind
Intelligent and loving
You have purpose
Yet to be fulfilled
You are home.
